Fall and winter are easy to overlook, but this is an excellent time to seed greens, divide perennials, plant bulbs, prune and plan for next year’s garden. This workshop will explore practical strategies for extending the season, selecting spring bulbs and cover cropping. We will also cover herbaceous perennial, the role they play in the garden and when and how to prune fruit trees and woody shrubs.

This workshop is suited towards beginning gardeners in and around New York City.

The registration link for this workshop will be available in August, 2026. Registration is free and available on a first come, first served basis.
