We’re Edible Schoolyard NYC, a nonprofit organization on a mission to make edible education accessible for every child in NYC. We believe edible education—where children experience hands-on cooking and gardening—helps them gain the skills to contribute to a healthy and sustainable food system for us all.
Team Edible Schoolyard NYC
As a member of Team Edible Schoolyard NYC, you will commit to raising a minimum of $1,500 in support of our programs. We will provide you with tools and support to make your fundraising a success. As part of the team you will get:

About the Race
This exhilarating 13.1-mile race kicks off in Brooklyn, leading participants across the legendary Brooklyn Bridge and along the scenic FDR Drive. Runners will also enjoy the rare chance to dash through Times Square, a location closed to traffic only twice a year, before concluding their journey in the stunning Central Park.
Fun fact: The United Airlines NYC Half is the only race to ever run across the Brooklyn Bridge!
