Step 1: Start by soaking dry beans in water for a few hours
Step 2: Try to peel off the outside of the bean. This part is called the seed coat. The seed coat protects the seed!
Step 3: Next, open up the bean. Inside you will see a little baby plant that is waiting to grow. The big white part of the seed is the food. The food is the energy that helps the baby plant grow.
