ESYNYC is excited to host a FREE workshop for beginning gardeners! 🌱 Join us on Wednesday, January 21st from 5:30-7pm for a virtual workshop on crop planning led by ESYNYC staff members Jason Duverney-Gaspar, Director of Horticulture and Operations, and Chloe Hirschhorn, Garden Manager.

During this virtual workshop, Edible Schoolyard NYC will share ideas for lessons to get high school students interested in the food system. This free, virtual workshop is only open to NYCPS teachers.

Learn how to create a habitat that supports native bees, butterflies, moths, and other pollinators during this in-person workshop. GrowNYC school garden coordinators along with ESYNYC educators & horticulturists are hosting this in-person workshop at GrowNYC’s headquarters in downtown Manhattan. Enthusiasts of all ages welcome!

This hands-on workshop will cover a range of propagation techniques such as collecting and starting seeds, dividing perennials, taking cuttings and more. Whether you’re growing vegetables, herbs or native perennial plants, everyone will leave a more confident grower with the knowledge to expand their garden. Registration link available soon.
